Cellar Door Applesauce Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup Cellar Door Applesauce
  • 1 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat over to 425F
  2. Grease or line a muffin tin
  3. Cream butter and sugar
  4. Beat in eggs and applesauce
  5. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt
  6. Add dry ingredients to wet, stir until just blended
  7. Pour into muffin tin until each well is half full of batter
  8. Bake for 15 minutes
  9. Remove when a toothpick comes our clean
  10. While still warm dip tops of muffins into melted butter then cinnamon sugar mixtur

 

Yield: 12 small muffins
